ECOVACS and eufy are targeting the chores left behind after cleaning—but their biggest performance numbers remain claims.
The latest IFA 2026 announcements shift attention from simply sending a robot around the floor to cleaning the robot afterward. ECOVACS unveiled the DEEBOT X12S OmniCyclone in Berlin, while Anker eufy announced the Omni E35, C30 and C30 Edge, according to Vacuum Wars.
The X12S keeps the X12 platform but adds more dock and internal cleaning. Its station pressure-washes the OZMO Roller 3.0 mop and rinses debris from the mop tray using a reported 40,000 Pa air pump. Inside the robot, a propeller agitates the dirty-water tank, while hot air can dry the air duct and dustbin. Its bagless PureCyclone system also avoids disposable dust bags.
ECOVACS says the X12S reaches 27,000 Pa of suction—23% above the X12—and Vacuum Wars lists the model at $999.99, alongside a $1,299.99 figure. The extract does not clarify which is the current selling price, so shoppers should verify it before buying.
Eufy’s E35 takes a different approach with a self-cleaning HydroJet 2.0 roller mop, hot-water washing and hot-air drying. The C30 and C30 Edge use dual rotating mop pads; the Edge model adds a mop extension of up to 76 millimeters for baseboards. Eufy opened U.S. presales for the E35, while it says the C30 models will launch in fall 2026. Prices for all three eufy models were not reported.
The catch is that 27,000- and 35,000-Pa suction figures, obstacle recognition and edge coverage still need independent home testing. Vacuum Wars specifically flags questions around dried stains, long-term filtration airflow and the C30 Edge’s real baseboard performance.
For now, the maintenance automation is the meaningful distinction. Buyers should wait for tested results—and confirm eufy’s current price and launch timing—before treating these announcements as evidence of better cleaning.
